Yoga

Yoga has been a powerful tool in my own journey of self-development, nervous system regulation, and mental well-being. However, I’ve also experienced firsthand how certain practices can lead to fatigue, injury, or strain—especially when not adapted for the modern body.

With over seven years of practice and six years of teaching, I’ve developed a teaching style that is accessible, yet still engaging and dynamic. My approach honors the uniqueness of each body while offering challenges that help you grow—without forcing movements that don’t serve you.

Yoga isn’t just about flexibility or strength; it’s about connecting to your body, cultivating presence, and supporting your overall well-being. Whether you’re looking for an energising flow or deep rest, there’s a practice for you.

Yoga practices I offer:

Vinyasa Flow – fluid movement to build strength and flexibility

Yin Yoga – deep, meditative holds to release tension and support the nervous system

Restorative Yoga – gentle, supported postures to encourage deep relaxation and healing

Yoga truly is for every body, and I’d love to help you find the right class for you.

Yin and Yang yoga works with the balance of restful and energising energies. In this practice we start and finish with Yin poses- poses held for a number of minutes that gradually open into the fascia (connective tissue). The Yang part of the session is a short vinyasa flow to get us moving, connecting and smiling. Suitable for all levels as we have plenty of options and props.

Monthly Workshops

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga, often called ‘Rest and Digest’ yoga, comes from the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar. It is specifically designed to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, helping the body shift out of stress and into a state of deep relaxation.

This practice isn’t just about slowing down—it’s about reconnecting with yourself, releasing stored tension, and bringing balance to your nervous system. Through long-held, fully supported postures, we gently open the fascia (connective tissue), which can support both physical and emotional well-being.

What to Expect

Deeply supported postures using bolsters, blankets, and props to allow the body to fully relax

Extended holds in familiar, gentle yoga poses to encourage deep release

Breathing techniques to calm the nervous system and encourage presence

Hands-on support, including optional head massage, to enhance relaxation

A space to slow down, let go, and feel completely held and supported

Who is This For?

This workshop is for everyone, whether you’re an experienced yogi or have never practiced before. It’s especially supportive if you’re:

• Experiencing stress, anxiety, or burnout

• Recovering from illness

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a deeply meditative and restorative practice where we hold postures for 2–5 minutes, allowing time for the fascia (connective tissue) to soften and release. This creates space in the body, improves flexibility, and supports both physical and emotional well-being.

What to Expect

Long-held, floor-based postures to gently stretch and hydrate the fascia

Breathwork techniques to deepen the practice and regulate the nervous system

A slow, meditative space to reset and restore

Hands-on support (optional) to encourage deeper relaxation

This session is perfect for anyone needing rest, release, and nervous system regulation. Whether you’re looking to improve flexibility, relieve stress, or simply take time for yourself, this is your space to let go.
